		<description>I think motivation is also a very important ingredient. Motivation is very easy to lose and once people lose it, it gets very hard to get it back. I have seen people do amazing things with little knowledge and experience simply because of their devotion and strive for success.</description>

		<description>I think you really hit the nail on the head. I find #3: make sub-departments and having what I called &#039;subject matter experts&#039; really empowers people to fill that role.

Another important aspect I found was the ability to listen and take feedback from the team.  I tend to think that people in SEO (and especially since you probably hired them) are smarter than your average Joe.  They will often come to you with some great feedback and suggestions.

I also asked that all members stay up to date with the industry happenings by reading SEO blogs, newsletters, and participating in social media activities.  Talk about on the job training, right?</description>
